Hahaha! This is so great. I flove Reese too and for so many of the same movies (Freeway and Election, but especially Legally Blonde and Sweet Home Alabama) and reasons you cite above. I can’t even think about “Jackson” without thinking of Reese singing…
I think she’s beautiful and classy and oh so talented and I can’t wait to see her opposite Rob in WFE!

Pass that sweet tea over here, sister. I am fangirling, too! I am from good ‘ole Mississippi, and I feel the same way you do. I love Reese, and am THRILLED that she and Rob are doing this movie together. Could it get any hotter?
Gush on, us Southern girls gotta stick together!

I think her first or at least one of her first movie’s was Fear in 1996 with Mark Wahlberg. That was the start of me loving Reese. I could totally relate to her since she is around my age so I love any and every movie she is in. She’s beautiful, talented and inspiring!

Oh Jen your Ava is such a cutie!
I’ve always had a girl cursh on Reese! Ever since Man in the Moon.
You just can’t take your eyes off of her. But with Rob as her costar I think WFE might be the first time

I agree Jen, Reese is wonderful! I first saw her in The Man in the Moon when she was just a little thing and thought wow she is adorable. And I saw Freeway the same way on HBO and was blown away by her performance. She has only gotten better over the years and I too and so happy she was attached to this project before Rob signed on, it will be a great match!
Thanks for sharing your Reese love with us! xo

I love Reese too. The first movie I remember seeing her in was Wild Flower – made for TV movie. She was a teenager and she outshined everyone in the cast. It was such a precious movie I even purchased a copy. I’ve watched her career ever since.

I’m from Tennessee and have always loved Reese. If you haven’t seen The Man in the Moon, you need to see it. As young as she was, you could see she was a brilliant actress. She was perfect for Sweet Home Alabama because she did not have to fake that voice – nothing worse than an artificial Southern drawl! I think her sense of humor is what keeps Rob smiling on set. Both are perfect for the roles! Can’t wait!

I am not from the south, but I am from southern California (Los Angeles to be exact) and I want to join in on the Reese love, too. I first saw her in The Man in the Moon when I was around 8 years old and became a big fan. When she was up for the Oscar for Walk the Line I was rooting for her all the way and cried when she won and gave her acceptance speech. I love her movies and I think she is such a talent. I was so thrilled to hear about her being casted as Marlena and I cannot wait to see her and Rob together on the big screen. Eeee!

Reese Rocks! I’ve always enjoyed her movies. I remember hosting a birthday party for her movie A Far Of Place at the El Capitan in Hollywood when I was younger. I wanted to BE her. That movie was so amazing to me.
My other Reese favs are: American Psycho (she was the BEST yuppy), Just Like Heaven (such a cute movie if you haven’t seen it), Penelope (she was hardly in it but she produced it and it was during my James McAvoy crush), Four Christmases (LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! SEE THIS MOVIE), and obviously her biggest movies (SHA, LBs, & WtL).
I think she is one classy actress and love the success she’s had. I have complete faith in her portrayal of Marlena and can’t wait to see her alongside her horses, Rosie, Christoph, and of course, Rob. I think she is the most universally known actor in this movie and love the dynamic she will bring to the story. Who doesn’t know Reese Witherspoon?!
Ok…my fangirling is over.
